Finn-Ole Heinrich at the German School London

This year we were proud to have Finn-Ole Heinrich as our guest for the annual book reading on 8 March 2017.

During the event the winners of our Translation Competition were be awarded a prize and read their translations on stage.

Pupils enjoyed the "Maulina" books (Years 5 and 6) and "Räuberhände" (Years 10 and 11) as well  as three short films the author presented during lessons and at the main event in the evening.

The German author Finn-Ole Heinrich, born 13 September 1982 in Henstedt-Ulzburg, is a studied film director. For his book "Frerk, du Zwerg!" he was awarded the Deutsche Jugendliteraturpreis (German Prize for Youth Literature) in 2012. Heinrich lives in Hamburg.
