Learning at the DSL
From Kinderhaus to Pre-School and Primary School to the German International Abitur and the IB - at DSL, children aged 3 to 18 years learn together on one site. This allows us to closely accompany the transition from one stage of their educational journey to the next. We recognise and support each child in their individual learning processes and encourage them to develop critical thinking and independent learning skills.
Our guideline is the curriculum of the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg which we have have complemented with components from the British system as well as the IB programme in addition to our own concepts. This enables our students to transfer seamlessly to the German (at home and abroad) or international school systems.
The results achieved by our graduates are consistently above average - confirming our concepts and the commitment of our teachers lead the students to success!
"After 15 years at the DSL, I feel I've been prepared for the next steps excellently. And this is not limited to the academic scope of my education. Group work, time management, event organisation - thanks to the advice and support of many teachers, I have learned far more than what was asked in the Abitur."
